I purchased the figurine in Vietnam and received the fleur de lis as a gift. One day I looked at them on the mantle and thought, what a nice representation ofPetunia and me. We're a perfect combination.
I'm the mom of a sweet and spicy girl (affectionately known as Petunia) who happened to have been born in Vietnam. I brought her home on May 12, 2007, the day before Mother's Day. My cup runneth over.
These writings and photographs are to provide family and friends with a means of keeping up with what's going on in the world of Petunia and me. They're also a way of documenting the moments, especially the small ones, that I want to remember. But, more than any other reason, they are for my daughter. I hope that one day she will enjoy these little glimpses into her life, as seen through the eyes of her mother, who loves her more than mere words can describe.
