The Pledge Of Allegiance... With A Twist

Tonight I asked Lily Ana if she would recite the Pledge of Allegiance for me. Although she mispronounced a word here and there, she said it from start to finish... and then some.

She stood up, placed her hand over her heart, put on her most serious face and said, "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Now please remain standing for our National Anthem."
